Kingdom Mindset in a Social Media World with Rachel Schramm

Each year, it seems like the world of social media continues to expand… consuming more of our time and how we connect with one another. We often hear all the negatives attached to social media, but what if God wants us to use this vast, digital community to kingdom-build in fresh ways? What if He’s been waiting for us to invite Him into our digital lives this entire time? This session is for those who want to know how to approach social media with a kingdom mindset, whether you work in social media, your brand/business is on social media, or if you are just an everyday user yourself.

At the end of the session, there will be a Q&A time portion as well related to this session or to share insights on overall current best practices in this field.

About the Speaker

Rachel Schramm, MBA, has over 10 years of social media and PR experience across major brands such as Chevrolet, Buick, and Compassion International, most recently joining the Detroit Lions corporate partnerships team as a digital and social lead running Ford Field's channels. She also was previously an Adjunct Professor at Olivet Nazarene University teaching courses such as Social Media Strategies, PR Writing, and Public Speaking, along with mentoring students within the communications program and student-run agency. She's also partnered on her own social platforms with organizations such as Broadway in Chicago and ATG Detroit, but she finds her highest calling in the social space sharing about the Gospel across her personal platforms. Rachel's passion is that the world of social media can and should be used for kingdom-building, as it's often overlooked due to the negative impacts it can have.
