How can ministry exist beyond the four walls of the church? Has the Lord assigned you to lead as an example of Christ in spaces where Christianity isn’t often visible? In this breakout session, we’ll discuss both the challenges of and strategies for being a Christian witness in the workplace. We’ll also highlight ways to use your skills as a professional to glorify God, inside of work and outside, through mentorship, volunteering, and more.

About the Speakers
Bro. CaVar Reid and Crystal Reid are passionate servants of Jesus Christ, committed to advancing God’s Kingdom through ministry and the marketplace. United in purpose, they are dedicated to encouraging and equipping individuals—especially the next generation—to embrace their God-given identity and calling.
Bro. CaVar is a bi-vocational minister and non-profit leader with a heart for evangelism and leadership. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, he has served in ministry from a young age. He holds degrees from Wesleyan University and the University of Michigan, and currently serves as Vice President at Northpoint College and Managing Director at Thrive Scholars.
Dr. Crystal is an educator and leader with experience in non-profit work, youth development, and academic advising. A graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.), Wayne State University (M.A.), and Oakland University (Ed.D.), she is devoted to empowering individuals and serving as a role model for young women.
Together, Crystal and CaVar are committed to serving youth, strengthening the Body of Christ, and modeling a Christ-centered life and marriage.
